AbstractAbstract
[en] The geological formations in the unsaturated zone at Yucca Mountain, Nevada, are being investigated as the proposed site of a repository for the disposal of high-level radioactive waste. The numerical and conceptual tools that will be used to assess the degree to which the site complies with specified regulatory criteria are currently under development. This paper reports the status of a probability model that has been implemented to address uncertainties in quantitative predictions of parameter values that are used as input to numerical simulation models of flow. 12 refs., 2 figs., 2 tabs
