AbstractAbstract
[en] This work describes the development of a large area scintillation counter which is able to determine simultaneously energy, impact position and time-of-flight information of an incoming particle. A model calculation is used to predict the achievable resolutions. They have been verified in a series of measurements using a test module to σχ=5 mm, σE=0.7 MeV and σTOF=450 psec at 10 MeV of deposited energy. It is proposed to employ an adapted version of the counter in a measurement of η-photoproduction near threshold energy. (orig.)
