AbstractAbstract
[en] The intermetallic compound GdAl2 crystallizes in the cubic Laves phase C15. It is a simple ferromagnet below 176K. The easy direction of magnetization in this compound is such that the Al ions are distributed among two magnetically inequivalent sites. The pulsed NMR technique was used to study the origin of the signals from these two sites and the nuclear magnetic relaxation. (author)

O composto intermetalico GdAl2 possui a estrutura cubica de Laves C15 e e um ferromagneto simples abaixo de 176 K. A direcao de facil magnetizacao deste composto e tal que os ions do Al estao distribuidos em dois sitios magneticamente nao equivalentes. Como consequencia os campos hiperfinos sentidos pelos nucleos do Al sao diferentes nestas dois sitios. Utilizou-se a tecnica de RMN para estudar a origem dos sinais do 27Al provenientes destes dois sitios e tambem a relaxacao magnetica nuclear. (A.C.A.S.)Original Title
