AbstractAbstract
[en] A method of photometric determination of cerium in rare earth oxides is suggested. The oxide analyzed is dissolved in perchloric acid and then the solution with added HO2 is boiled down to vapours of perchloric acid. The analysis sensitivity is increased by a factor of 2.4, as compared with the known method, by the use of phosphoric acid as a complexing reagent. Optical density of solution is measured after the treatment by ozonized air. From the weighed amount of 1 g up to 3x10-4 % CeO2 are determined. 1 tab
