[en] Cleaned superconductor filament bundles, freed from the stabilization matrix and inserted into a superconductive metal casing, are pressed into a rod, by forging for instance. The superconductive junction is formed by ultrasonic welding of the rod, or by face pressing and ramming of the rod together with a rod of a superconductor of a similar kind. The advantage of this procecure is in the possibility of making junctions in an immediate vicinity to the coil. The junctions are small in size and possess a suitable geometry. (J.B.). 3 figs
