AbstractAbstract
[en] For its purification, the liquid radioactive waste is made acid with H2SO4 to pH<5, and a solution of a barium salt and a solution of an iron(III) salt are added in volumes such that the amounts of the barium and iron ions are 1-100 and 40-1000 mg/l of the liquid waste, respectively. The waste is then made alkaline to pH>10.5 with calcium hydroxide, and the precipitate formed is separated off. (P.A.)
