AbstractAbstract
[en] Tin ionic implantation on pure iron surface at moderate doses (5x1015 to 5x1016) Sn+ Cu-2) has proven to be very efficient in improving the metal characteristics to oxidation and abrasion at high temperature. The abrasion volumetric coefficient Kv, is reduced from up to 100 times, and the oxidation tax constant is reduced from up to 10 times. The physical mechanisms responsible for these phenomena are studied using different techniques of surface analysis; as Rutherford backscattering of alpha particles, Moessbauer spectroscopy of conversion electrons and sweeping electronic microscopy. A implantacao ionica de estanho na superficie do ferro puro a doses moderadas (5x1015 a 5x1016) Sn+.cm-2) mostra-se muito eficiente na melhoria das caracteristicas do metal frente a desgaste e oxidacao a alta temperatura. O coeficiente volumetrico do desgaste, Kv, e reduzido de ate cem vezes e a constante de taxa de oxidacao e reduzida de ate dez vezes. Os mecanismos fisicos responsaveis por estes fenomenos sao estudados usando diversas tecnicas de analise da superficie tais como retroespalhamento Rutheford de particulas alfa, espectroscopia Moessbauer de eletrons de conversao e microscopia eletronica de varredura.
