AbstractAbstract
[en] The system BaO-Nd2O3-CuO-O has been examined in order to define the equilibrium relationships among the solid phases at 9500C in oxygen. Beside the already known ternary phases (Nd2BaCuO5 and Ba2-xNd1+xCu3O7±δ), there is evidence for a new phase having the composition Ba8Nd4Cu4O18+δ and a mixed crystals field that originates from the binary phase Ba2CuO3+δ by partial substitution of Nd for Ba according to the composition
