AbstractAbstract
[en] Weakly Interacting Massive Particles are hypothetical particle-candidates for solving the dark matter problem. For a specific range of masses and cross-sections on baryonic matter they are trapped and accumulate in the core of stars. For a smaller range they happen to be very efficient to cool those cores. For the sun, that could be an explanation for the low rate of detected solar neutrinos. If so, constraints on WIMP (cosmion) parameters are very stringent and can be currently tested by ongoing dark matter experiments
