AbstractAbstract
[en] This chapter describes the most appropriate syntheses of actinide oxides on the laboratory scale in terms of reliability, efficiency, and purity. The text is arranged from lowest to highest oxidation state of binary oxides, followed by 'hydrates' (actinyl hydroxides), nonstoichio-metric oxides, peroxides, and complex oxides. The reader is encouraged to consult the original literature for synthetic details and product characterization. (author). 166 refs.; 1 fig.; 1 tab
