AbstractAbstract
[en] A highly specific and sensitive radioimmunological method is used for determination of the normal blood serum prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) concentrations in 143 healthy males aged from 21 to 80 years distributed in 6 age groups. The results varied from 2 to 25 pmol/l. A statistically reliable increase (p < 0,025) in PAP-values was detected in males after 60 years of age. The reference values of the PAP-concentrations were elaborated according to the age, which could be used for sure results interpretation in patients with prostate diseases. 1 tab., 1 fig., 4 refs
