[en] A large number of electronic systems used in the measurement and analysis of weak signals involve a ''lock-in'' amplifier, because it provides an effective method for the recovery of signals buried below a considerable high level of noise. The use of the ''lock-in'' amplifier in our institutions is very limited due to the high expense and the lack of warranties for its maintenance. The purpose of the present work is to design and build a low cost ''lock-in'' amplifier using components available in the local market. Its optimization has allowed us to increase the sensitivity and linearity of the systems, making it very versatile for dedicated applications
