AbstractAbstract
[en] We study two different schemes for regularizing anyons, i.e. for giving them an internal structure that ensures smooth wave functions and guarantees that Fermi or Bose statistics is regained at short distances. Both schemes give anyons that staisfy the generalized spin-statistics connection, and for suitably chosen parameters their groundstates are very similar. As an example of a physical quantity that depends on regularization, we calculate the second virial coeffient, and show that the cusps which characterize the pure anyon case are absent. (orig.)
