[en] Data on perovskite-like oxygen (O22-) content in barium cuprates (BaCuOy and Ba2Cu3Oy) are presented. They were calculated with the use of material balance equation on the basis of experimental data on the content of total oxygen and Cu3+ ions in the cuprates. Correspondence between the amount of (O22-) ions in barium cuprate Ba2Cu3Oy and yttrium ions in YBa2Cu3Oy superconductor was revealed. The mechanism of (Y3+) yttrium ion implantation into barium cuprate Ba2Cu3Oy is considered
