[en] In the process of interaction between 1,2-bis-(β-aminoethyl)diaziridine (AED) and Ni2+, Cu2+ and Cd2+ nitrates and perchlorates coordination compounds of the composition [M(AED)2]X2 have been synthesized. Data of IR and electron spectroscopy testify to the fact that AED in the substances studied is tridentate and it is coordinated with metal atom via two atoms of NH2 group nitrogen and nitrogen atom of diaziridinine cycle
