[en] Methods of physicochemical analysis are used to study Sb2Se3-SmSe system phase diagram, which is quasibinary of eutectic type. Three ternary compounds are formed in the system: SmSb4Se7, SmSb2Se4 and Sm3Sb4Se9, the first compound melts congruently, two others - incongruently. Solid solution region near Sb2Se3, extending up to 2 mol.% at room temperature, is detected
