[en] The system BW-BV was studied in subsolidus range with the use of mechanical activation of initial oxide mixture. It is shown that application of mechanical activation during synthesis of alloys in the system Bi2WO6-Bi2VO5.5 promotes the formation of solid solutions in a wide range of compositions. Unit cell parameters of the solid solutions depending on their composition are determined
