[en] The radiological clinic in the Grosshadern Clinic has had for more than one year experimental software with which peripheral digital angiography with stepping and in subtraction technique could be performed for the first time. It could be shown that digital peripheral subtraction angiography with stepping has advantages compared with the non-subtracted examination technique. It was further examined, by reference to the examination duration, the surface dose product, the contrast medium consumption as well as the image quality, with which of the four possible techniques the best results can be achieved.
