[en] The scalar pion form factor (also known as σ-term) is calculated from the QCD Green function approach. The result at q2 = 0 is in excellent agreement with the PCAC prediction. We also present the q2-dependence of the form factor which allows us to obtain the scalar radius of the pion as [r2]sπ = 12.6 ± 1.3 GeV-2. (orig.)
