[en] The authors have used magnetization measurements to study the effect of proton irradiation on the critical current density of a YBaCuO single crystal. They have obtained a maximum value of 1.5 x 105 A/c2 at 77 K and 1 T at a fluence of 2 x 1016 cm-2, representing a 50-fold increase with respect to the unirradiated sample
