AbstractAbstract
[en] In the supersymmetric nonlinear σ-model the renormalization group beta functions are found to depend nontrivially on the dilaton field at the third loop order. Dilaton fields satisfying ∇μ∇vΦ=0 in Ricci flat spaces naturally emerge as appropriate backgrounds consistent with conformal invariance. The consequences for cosmology of these backgrounds are discussed. (orig.)
