[en] It is shown that the quark loop contribution to the SU(3) x SU(3) breaking terms in the η → γγ decay is appreciable and compensate largely for a reduction by the SU(3) breaking in the η meson decay constant. The measured Γ(η→γγ) then implies an η-η' mixing angle θ ≅ -(18.4±2)deg consistent with chiral perturbation theory. (orig.)
