AbstractAbstract
[en] The macroscopic current transport in a ceramic superconductor is discussed. Whereas samples with weakly coupled grains can be described by the XY-model, another approach has to be taken for strongly coupled ceramics. Experiments on YBa2Cu3O7-δ are reported which indicate that technologically interesting ceramics belong to the limit of strongly coupled grains. The authors introduce the classical limiting interface model to determine the critical current flow in strongly coupled ceramics
