AbstractAbstract
[en] The environmental impact study of the coal burning power plant Plomin I is finalized by the monitoring of radiological impact. Because of the recent closure of all Istrian basin coal mines, more research is made on coals and fly ashes form other sources. A special attention is given on the analysis of individual particles of fly ash by proton microbeam, in order to study toxic elements distribution and their correlation to matrix composition and morphological characteristics. Development of analytical methods is also discussed since the new proton microprobe facility in Zagreb started operation recently. (author). 3 refs, 6 figs
