AbstractAbstract
[en] Thick films of YBa2 Cu3 O7-x have been prepared on alumina and YSZ (Yttria-stabilized zirconia) substrates by the screen printing technique. Several experimental conditions have been studied, for instance: sintering time, temperature, thickness and atmosphere annealed. The resulting films have been characterized by X-ray diffraction, AC electrical resistance, AC susceptibility and scanning electron microscopy. The surface and cross-section have been observed with an optical microscope. The X-ray diffraction patterns have been compared with a typical pattern and that has indicated the good quality of the samples. AC resistance and its temperature dependence have been measured in the standard four-probe configuration. Films thickness has been estimated in the scanning electron microscope. This technique has been suitable for production of high Tc superconducting films being a simple and inexpensive method. (author)
