AbstractAbstract
[en] A 3 MW TRIGA MK II Research Reactor was installed in Bangladesh in 1986. The reactor is being utilized for research, training and for production of radioisotopes. Recently two faults were detected, one in the Emergency Core Cooling System and the other in the Primary Coolant Loop, which hindered the operation of the reactor partially. The faults were investigated by a team of local experts. Results of analyses of possible initiating events of the faults and the remedial steps are briefly discussed in the paper. (author)
