[en] The symposium was held when various utility systems, integral and peripheral to industries and organizations undergone a significant advancement in the recent years to cope with the stringent requirements of operating conditions, energy conservation and reliability. The concept of multidisciplinary approach for operating and designing these utility systems have been proved successful to meet demand of ever growing and complex processes.
