AbstractAbstract
[en] A model of Radiation Hormesis using free radicals was presented before, but the experimental background of the model was not clear at that time. Since then data confirming the existence of mechanisms underlying this model have appeared, and data supporting RH have increased. Especially in medical therapy methods using RH have been successfully applied to patients. This paper explains underlying mechanisms of the model, summarizes evidence supporting RH, and makes comparisons of the model with observations. (author). 17 refs., 1 tab
