[en] The main objective of this study is to establish practice plan of them and to propose main R and D projects achieving the National Nuclear R and D target - becoming one of an advanced nuclear countries in the early 2000s. With this point of view, this study especially carried out the analysis of the Japanese long-term plans for nuclear power utilization and development. And we tried to propose main R and D projects with Nuclear Power Technology Relevance Tree. Also, the budget essential to the R and D plan for nuclear technology is estimated and the method to finance the budget for the next 10 years (1992-2001) has been considered in this study so as to make the national R and D plan more realistic.
