AbstractAbstract
[en] The City of Louisville, a municipal corporation charged with meeting the water demands of almost 5,000 water accounts and faced with a diminishing supply of available senior water rights on South Boulder Creek determined the need for a Raw Water Master Plan to define future water needs for its service area. The Master Plan investigated the City's water rights, conveyance and storage facilities, current and future water demands, and conservation techniques for reduction of demand. To analyze the effects of potential drought conditions, it was necessary to study stream hydrology and develop forecasting techniques and a computer model (SYSTEM) to simulate historical yields from water rights through operation of the City's conveyance and storage facilities
