AbstractAbstract
[en] We describe in this review the various mechanisms leading to single and multiple ionization after photon absorption in the X-UV regime. An overview of the absorption spectroscopy is first proposed, and we describe then the electronic relaxation processes (Auger effect), pointing out the role played by nuclear motion. We show finally that 2D TOF mass spectrometry is able to give the full dissociation and ionization pattern as well as information concerning fragmentation dynamics (stepwise or concerted processes)
