AbstractAbstract
[en] The objective was to demonstrate the main characteristics of the neutron radiography technique, which has been developed in the Nuclear Physics Department of the IPEN-CNEN-SP. Its employment, in technology varies enormously and includes among others, the inspection of the hydrogen-rich substances, highly radioactive materials, etc. The indirect conversion method with Dysprosium screen was employed. The experimental arrangement used was a neutron collimator installed in the bottom of the IEA-R1 Nuclear Research Reactor pool. Several samples were analysed which were exposed in a neutron flux ∼ 107 n/s.cm2 during 10 minutes. The obtained results confirm the main characteristics of this technique as well as its viability to be developed in this reactor. (author)
