AbstractAbstract
[en] The synthesis of a hydrogel having silicone rubber tubes as support was carried out through the radiation grafting technique. The best conditions for the grafting development were determined in relation to the monomer and inhibitor concentration, dose rate and irradiation dose. The addition of cupric ions in the process inhibited the acrylamide homo polymerization and enhanced the grafting yield. The water content in the grafted tubes characterized the hydrophilic property of the material. (author)
