[en] Dependences of initial susceptibility on Gd monocrystal temperature χ(T) along the crystallographic axes c and b in the external magnetic fields and under effect of all-round compression up to 1 GPa, are measured. It is ascertained that χ(T) curves demonstrate maxima at the Curie temperature Θc, spin-reorientation transition temperature ΘSR and at ΘA=140 K
