AbstractAbstract
[en] The zirconia phase transformations are followed by volumetric changes and this causes limitations in its applications such as the thermal mechanical one and the thermal structural. One in this work, the stabilization of cubic and tetragonal zirconia by addition of cerium and lanthanum oxides has been studied. It was also studied the influence of iron oxide (Fe2 O3) as a stabilizer in the zirconia-ceria system. (author)
