[en] Strontium iridium oxide, Sr4IrO6, Mr=638.7, rhombohedral, R anti 3c, a=9.73439(9), c=11.8920(2) A (hexagonal setting), V=975.9 A3, Z=6, Dx=6.52 g cm-3. Rietveld refinement of time-of-flight neutron powder diffraction data in the range 3000-19300 μs [collected at 298 K, F(000)=417.8 fm, 1051 contributing reflections] resulted in RI=3.7%, Rp6.1%, Rwp=3.5% and χ2=0.99. Sr4IrO6 is isostructural with Sr4PtO6. (orig.)
