AbstractAbstract
[en] The need for pion-exchange currents consistent with quark models which respect chiral symmetry is presented. Applications to photopion via the Δ(1232) and several N* resonances indicate significant contribution from exchange currents. Possible improvements to the theory are discussed. (orig.)
