[en] From 1993 until 2020 the world would have consume about 140 milliards tonnes of petroleum products, exactly the actual reserves, it's worth thinking over. This evolution will need to use more and more Middle-East petroleum and to reduce production prices for other ones. It is necessary to go on making technological efforts in this way to diversify provisioning. Seismic detection in three directions (3D seismic) which increase lucks of success in drilling, horizontal drilling which improve productivity, offshore petroleum production which takes a part of 30% of world production today, natural gas expansion which reserves are as important as petroleum ones but not so much exploited, all that things are as many ways to assure perenniality of petroleum production
