[en] We investigate string propagation on the curved group manifold based on the SL(2,R) Wess-Zumino-Witten model. From the character formula in the representation theory we evaluate the closed string propagator for two punctual boundary states and find that the configuration dependence is characterized through the geodesic distance between them
