AbstractAbstract
[en] The four detectors ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL have collected over 600,000 Zsup(neutral) decays during the Large Electron Positron collider (LEP) runs in 1989 and 1990. Model independent simultaneous fits to the LEP data give the mass and widths of the Zsup(neutral) to be: Mz 91.181±0.006±0.020(LEP) GeV, Γz = 2.500±0.014 GeV, Γsub(had) = 1.754±0.014 GeV and Γsub(lept) = 83.7±0.6 MeV. The number of ν families is determined to be Nsub(ν) 2.98±0.07. Strong coupling constant αs, is measured to be 0.115±0.010. Within the Standard Model framework, the LEP data along with the value of Mw from the (anti p)p colliders give a top mass value Msub(top) 162sub(-31)sup(+25)±15(Higgs) GeV. Higgs boson as predicted by the minimal standard model, has been looked for and the lower bound on its mass is set to 44 GeV. Evidence of B(anti B) mixing is seen in the heavy flavour decay of Zsup(neutral) and the mixing parameter is measured to be 0.154±0.032. (author). 24 refs., 6 figs., 7 tab
