AbstractAbstract
[en] In order to improve and modify the erosion and wear resistance of alloys used in industrial technology, two approaches have been dealt with in this investigation: First: improvement of Inconel erosion oxidation by Nd:YAG laser surface treatment hard, oxide layer on annealed aluminied Inconel was applied. Second: wear resistance improvement of high speed steel cutting tool. A process of Nd:YAG laser surface alloying of carbon aluminium and carbon with aluminium powders were used. Microscopic and wear analysis showed that the laser treatment with the aluminium and argon 20% nitrogen mixture was improved in life time of cutting tool by 4 times compared with as received high speed steel. 8 tabs.; 28 figs.; 71 refs.; 1 app
