AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper describes the development of a standard method for assessing the dose rate and total dose gamma radiation tolerance of solid-state sensor-based, CCTV cameras, as used for many inspection tasks. The method permits the intercomparison of assessments carried out on different cameras by different people. It also allows the rapid processing and analysis by computer of data collected during the assessment. Results presentation has also been automated. This method has been used successfully to assess the radiation tolerance of more than twenty cameras over the past three years with significant savings of time and cost. (author)
