[en] Using chemical tracer KCl and combined with FAAS method to determine the variation regulation of potassium concentration, the situation of fluid intermixing and the influence of time-lag in the cavity of the pressure vessel for a nuclear power reactor were studied. The tracer method has many advantages over the radioisotope technique, such as simple sample preparation, non-toxic and pollution-free draining, low cost (KCl), and very convenient and reliable determination of potassium concentration by FAAS method
