AbstractAbstract
[en] A particle tracking method is presented which is developed to simulate solute transport in fractured media modeled with overlapping double porosity model. In order to compare some numerical results by the proposed method with results by finite element method, it is confirmed that the proposed gives reliable and stable solutions in analysing advection-dispersion problems. The proposed method was applied to some results from in-situ tracer experiments. The measured tracer breakthrough curves were simulated very well by the particle tracking method, which proved that it is useful in analysing measured results from in-situ tracer experiments.
