[en] Present activity of reactor monitoring systems in Hungary, especially in the Central Research Institute of Physics and the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, is presented. It is shown that the radiation burden falling on the Hungarian population coming from peaceful applications of atomic energy including radiation effects of the Chernobylsk Reactor in Hungary, is significantly low compared to the average natural radiation doses.
