AbstractAbstract
[en] The problem of best absorber location in the reactor volume to shape a desired power distribution have been solved through the application of sensitivity analysis method. This method is based on the variational functional technique. The problem has been formulated in the multigroup diffusion approximation using a proposed iterative technique which converges rapidly to the desired result. Convergence of iterations has been illustrated by the examples of solving the problem. The SARC-AM code have been written in Fortran-77 to calculate the optimal absorber management in reactor core. 4 fig., 1 tab
