AbstractAbstract
[en] The half-life of the 344.282 KeV level in 152 Gd was measured by the (γ-γ) delayed coincidence technique in the study of the decay of 152 Eu. The two sources method has been adopted for the time calibration of the whole system. In addition, the half-life of the 965.670 KeV level in 207 Pb was measured as a check on the experimental equipment and the method used in the measurements. The value obtained, by analyzing the time spectrum, for the half-life of the 344.282 KeV level in 152 Gd was T1/2 36.238± 3.020 psec. Our value confirms one of the two previous measurements. From the measured half-life, the experimental reduced transition probabilities, the enhancement factor, the deformation parameter and the quadrupole moment have been extracted.5 fig
