AbstractAbstract
[en] High energy photons in ultra-relativistic nucleus nucleus collisions at RHIC and LHC energies are discussed as a source of information on the collision dynamics and as a signature of deconfining phase transition. The photon emission rates from an expanding quark gluon plasma undergoing transverse expansion have been evaluated. (orig.)
