AbstractAbstract
[en] The HELIOS-3 experiment at the CERN SPS has measured the dimuon production in 200 GeV/c proton-tungsten and sulfur-tungsten collisions in a wide kinematic region. First results on dimuon pairs in the mass range between production threshold and the J/Ψ are presented, showing a drastic change in the spectral shape of the mass distribution, manifesting itself in a much smaller ratio of the vector resonances ρ/ω and Φ above the continuum in S-W than in p-W collisions
