[en] In previous corrosion studies, carbon steels were identified as promising materials for the manufacture of long-lived high-level waste containers that could act as an engineered barrier in a rock-salt repository. In this paper, the influence of chemical species, potentially present in salt brines, on the electrochemical corrosion behavior of the preselected fine-grained steel TStE 355 was studied. The steel was examined at 90 C in a disposal relevant NaCl-rich brine containing various species (Br-, I-, Cu2+, Mn2+, S2-, B(OH)4- and Fe3+) at concentrations between 10-5 M/I and 10-1 M/I. (orig.)

Bisherige Korrosionsuntersuchungen ergaben, dass Kohlenstoffstaehle aussichtsreiche Materialien fuer langzeitbestaendige Behaelter zur Endlagerung von hochradioaktiven Abfaellen in Steinsalzformationen sind. In dieser Arbeit wurde mittels potentiodynamischer Polarisationsmessungen der Einfluss moeglicher chemischer Spezies in einer endlagerrelevanten Salzloesung auf das Korrosionsverhalten des ausgewaehlten Feinkornbaustahls TStE 355 untersucht. Der Stahl wurde bei 90 C in einer NaCl-reichen Loesung untersucht, die unterschiedliche Spezies (Br-, I-, Cu2+, Mn2+, S2-, B(OH)4- und Fe3+) in Konzentrationen zwischen 10-5 und 10-1 M/I enthielt.
